How will I find job in biotech, pharma or biopharma

Like any other sector, there are a number of factors that will influence your consideration and selection in companies prominent to the pharma sector. These include:

1) Your professional record and educational qualifications (Having years of experience in a field as a specialist or even being a fresh science/pharma graduate out of college are the best cases, since people prefer either young blood or veterans in the field)

2) Your network and circle (Having a prominently done LinkedIn profile can help here, as will any exhibits of accolades and mentions in the public domain. This may be limited in the sector, but can and will count nevertheless.

3) Your interview/interactions with your meeting authority (Often interviewers try to assess if a candidate fits into the culture and role set out for the vacancy in the firm)

One must thus concentrate on graduating without blemishes, showcasing academic achievements if any and doing well at the interview stage. Although your technical expertise and qualifications in college matter, the real world is a different beast when it comes to job in biopharma or pharma
